Who is Ross Ulbricht? Was the Silk Road founder framed for murder by corrupt cops? I asked Lyn Ulbricht about her son who created the dark web e-commerce platform called “Silk Road” which earned $183 million dollars, where its users could exchange a variety of goods, both legal and illegal, which was drugs in most cases.

Ross Ulbricht was sentenced to double life plus 40 years without parole, at the age of 26. Ross was a first-time offender who was charged with non-violent crimes and still got twice the prison sentence as El Chapo. Lyn Ulbricht was expecting a pardon from former President Donald J. Trump, that never came.

Ever since Ross went to prison, Lynn Ulbricht has been campaigning to expose the corruption within our judicial system and the shocking sentences handed down by prosecutors and judges. Recently, filmmaker Tiller Russell was on Joe Rogan discussing how he turned the "Silk Road" story Into a movie about the dark side of Silk Road. For those asking "is the movie Silk Road a true story?", Lyn Ulbricht would say no.

In May 2015, Matt Medved launched Billboard Dance, Billboard's dance and electronic music channel. While growing Billboard's dance music audience more than eightfold, he played a key role in breaking future headliners like Kygo and Marshmello.

In September 2017, Medved co-hosted the inaugural Electronic Music Awards in Los Angeles. In March 2018, Medved launched Billboard's new ranking of dance musicians titled Billboard Dance 100.

What started the pushback against the Wuhan "lab leak" theory?

This episode investigates the origins of coronavirus with the best-selling author and biohacker, Jamie Metzl. Despite enduring the COVID pandemic for over a year, the question remains - how and why did Covid 19 begin? At the time of this upload, The World Health Organization’s (WHO) investigation into the origins of Covid-19 has said that a laboratory leak is the least likely hypothesis. Today’s guest Jamie Metzl, fresh off of his recent Joe Rogan appearance isn’t convinced.

We also discussed Biohacking, Gene editing, and North Korea. This conversation went all over the place but to be clear, conspiracy theories don’t interest me, I don’t follow politics, and I have no interest in blaming others for the pandemic. That being said, I feel deeply uncomfortable and anxious knowing that if we don’t figure out how this all started, it will happen again in our lifetime. That’s something I’m not sure I can live through again.

Jamie Metzl is a former National Security analyst. I found Jamie’s work via his brilliant book - Hacking Darwin. He’s had a popular Ted Talk, spoken at Google Headquarters, and has had many appearances on major platforms including The Joe Rogan Experience, The Portal with Eric Weinstein, and Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu just to name a few.
